XO CARE has developed a new lamp for XO 4 Unit.
XO Lamp has always been excellent at lighting the oral cavity without the creation of shadows. It is imperative to channel the light as parallel as possible to your direction of vision. We call this the "headlamp principle."
Therefore, XO 4 Unit, has always been equipped with the longest lamp arm on the market. Enabling you to work in the lower jaw in position 12 and still have the light parallel to your vision.
To further facilitate the "headlamp principle" on XO 4 Unit, XO CARE has launched a new lamp where a third axis is incorporated in the lamphead, so the light direction can be tilted giving perfect lighting to even the smallest surface in the oral cavity.

XO CARE has introduced XO Patient Tray
How often have you experienced that your patients realise that they have their glasses on or wallet/car keys in their pocket(s) after they are already in the chair? As a solution we have created XO Patient Tray to be placed upon the topplate of XO 4 Unit giving the patient the possibility to deposit their belongings during their treatment. XO Patient Tray is also a logical place for the remote control for the automatic lumbar support function. XO Patient Tray can naturally be autoclaved and is now automatically included when you order your XO 4 unit.

Ni-Ti Safe function incorporated into XO Smart Link endo functions
Increase the lifetime of your Ni-Ti rotary instruments considerably, and clean the entire root canal with only one Ni-Ti rotary instrument, by the new Ni-Ti Safe function in XO Smart Link.
The NiTi Safe Function is essentially making the Ni-Ti rotary instrument move two thirds of a full rotation clockwise and one third of a full rotation counter-clockwise.
This novel technique will reduce the number of Ni-Ti rotary instruments required for canal preparation, and be more cost-effective compared with other Ni-Ti rotary techniques with regards to the single use of Ni-Ti rotary instruments.
Since it will be more cost effective, the idea is that one Ni-Ti rotary instruments can be used once for one patient and then thrown away, completely avoiding the risks of cross-contamination.

This feature can be attained for existing XO Smart Link users by upgrading their XO Smart Link Version to version 3.41, and is automatically included in new XO Smart Link purchases.
