XO Daylight is a second generation LED operating light, that provides light comparable to natural daylight. The innovative design is based on new LED technology, resulting in a CRI of 95 and a color temperature of 5500 Kelvin. The use of a reflector ensures that the viewing area remains free of shadows, when the path to the light source is obstructed by the operators hands and instruments, using a minimal number of LED's. Because the number of LED's are kept to a minimum, the power consumption, and consequently, the heat dissipation is very low, allowing for the operating light to be cooled without the need for a noisy cooling fan.

Ergonomics

Mechanically, XO Daylight is based on the successful "three independent axis" system, prescribed by the European Society of Dental Ergonomics (ESDE) and developed by XO CARE, allowing for the light to be placed ergonomically correct, with the beam parallel to the viewing direction of the operator, in all positions around the patient chair.
